This week over at Kelly's Korner blog she has Show us your life favorite Christmas Tradition. Our family tradition is heading to the Ozark Mountains!!! I so dream of one day having a mom who cares about me and everyone coming together out of love. But until that day, my family, Paul, me and the kids head to the mountains. We go to Branson and while we are there we attend the Dixie Stampede, The Branson Show Boat, and the best part heading Silver Dollar City!! These pictures are from last year and Fallon refused to have anything to do with Santa, so she is not in the pictures but she had a blast other than that!!
While at Silver Dollar City we eat lunch with Santa, one, the food is extremely good and then there are many characters there that interact with the kids!!
Then once we make it out to the park we head to some of the shows and then the big Parade they have at the closing of the park!!
Silver Dollar City lights up the park with millions of lights and they also have a massive light tree that consist of 4 million lights!!

What a great tradition! You have a lovely family! Great idea eating with good 'ole Santa Claus!!
Summer :0)
What wonderful memories you're building together as a family! We all would love to live the "post card" Christmas written about in songs and story books. What's important is the LOVE, and you have that in abundance!
God bless you and Merry Christmas!
I love branson, but have not been there for Christmas yet!
I loved reading about your Christmas tradition. I am stopping by from Kelly's Korner!
what great traditions and a nice family you have! :)
Looks like so much fun. Your children will remember this tradition forever. Thanks for sharing and I'm sure you will enjoy your trip again this year!
I can't imagine a mom that would not love to spend time with you and your beautiful family. I certainly can't imagine missing out on Christmas with those beautiful grandchildren. If you are ever in Alabama you would be more than welcome to join our family. I am proud for you that you have re-dedicated your life to Jesus and know that he will take care of you and your family. Wishing you the most wonderful Christmas holidays ever.
