The Beginning!!

Kale had Baseball Try-Outs tonight and he did AWESOME!! I am sooooo proud of him.  He got drafted to an awesome team and the coach that he got will really help and challenge him.  Me being to blonde dork that I am, I had my camera in my hand the whole time and forgot to take a picture.  So here are a few pictures that were taken last year.  The journey begins, well the Summer '09 Baseball journey!!!

77 Days!!

We have not had much going during this spring break week. Well that is why it is called spring BREAK, we have definitely taken a break from life!!   Then today we woke up to freezing cold tempatures.. :( Then I walk by our refrigerator and notice the countdown to the beach is just 77 days away!!  After getting a quick feel of the temperatures here, I am sooooo ready for the warm beach this summer!!  Till next time..

Spring Cleaning and Announcement!!

Lets get the important news out of the way first!!!  Scott (Paul's Brother) called this morning and said that they went to the doctor and had there first ultrasound and it is going to be a BOY!!  Poor Fallon is just going to have to deal with all boys, but I know she can handle them!!!  William Alexander is due August 1st, 2009!! We are sooooo excited, Congrats to Scott and Alison!!!

Now Beware for what you are going to see for the rest of the post!!  I decided that now that it is Spring Break I would clean, and I mean heavy duty cleaning, a room a day.  Yesterday, the kitchen and the bathrooms got cleaned.  Today was Fallon's room.  There are two rooms that I was dreading and Fallon's room was one of those rooms.  I posted before and after pictures below and I am warning beware.

Spring Break Fun!!

We went to Branson over the weekend, it was just a quick trip!! We went to Silver Dollar City and had a blast. There is way to many pictures to post, but here are a few.  Kale and I rode (I think) all the roller-coasters, other than Kale couldn't ride Wildfire, but I did and it was awesome. Fallon even rode Fire-in-the-Hole.  She said it was so much fun but she didn't want to do it again.

Back 'IN' with the Old!! YEA

Do you remember the Jelly shoes?? I wore them all the time when I was little and I LOVED them.  Then they just went away, of course.  We have officially started the Beach shopping this weekend and what did we find when we were shopping?? The JELLIES!! I love it.  I had to buy Fallon a pair or two.  Now she LOVES them.  We can't get them off of her, she thinks it is soooo cool to see her toes through her shoes.  Here are the ones she loves and then we have a clear pair being shipped to her!!

I didn't intentionally leave Kale out, his new clothes are being shipped.  He has to get slims in all his clothes and it is hard to find slims in the stores, so they are just shipping his new beach clothes to us!!!

Great News!!! **Updated**

I am going to be an AUNT again!!!  I am soooo excited!!! The new baby is due August 1st, 2009.  I know this is short and sweet, but had to let everyone know the good news!!!  

UPDATE: I need to clarify this, BB is NOT pregnant (least I hope not)!! It is Paul's brother Scott and his wife Alison that are having the baby!!!

Here are a few of the pictures that were emailed to me.  I didn't get any of them together, but Jeff looked handsome and Sterling looked absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Snow Day!!

I find it funny that now that I have a blog and facebook I seem to have my camera around more and taking pictures of things I wouldn't normally take pictures of.  So yesterday we went to Northwest Ark to just get away for a day and knowing it was supposed to snow in the morning but we were not aware that the "snow storm" was going to wrap back around north Ark.  So we got hit with it again yesterday while we were up there.   This was the result of the day happenings.  I started taking pictures of the the "outside temp" in my car, so starting at 11:06 it was 36 degrees in Alma then at 12:21 it was 27 as we were going up the mountain, then at 4:22 it was 25, then it was 23 degrees at 4:55.  It was fine while we were up there and Paul and I got to go shopping and then we ate at Red Lobster (that was awesome).  Then when we got back to pick up the kids from Nana's house we checked road conditions because the snow was getting worse and it said the roads were starting to get icy.  So we headed back and passed several wrecks and one fatality.  Here are some of the pictures I took.

This was the "bad" accident that we came up on.  

There was at least 4 miles of traffic backed up, we were so happy were not behind this.

We slid once on the way home, but it was not bad and we were so thankful we did make it ok.  That was the longest it has ever taken to get home, but that is OK because we made it home OK!!  Hope everyone has a good week.  I am really trying to post more often.

Congrats to Jeff and Sterling, they were married yesterday in Texas!! Sorry we couldn't make it!!
