100th Day!!

Today was the 100th day of school and our elementary schools make a huge deal out of the 100th day. Kale had a project where he had to glue 100 things to a piece of whatever and bring it to school. He used macaroni and glued all of them on a piece of paper that wrote out the number 100 with smiley faces in the zeros.
But let me back up a little. A couple of months ago the school had a food drive and which ever class brought the most canned food got a popcorn party. Kale told his teacher that if his class didn't win his dad could just bring popcorn to the class and have a party. Then Kale came home and told us what he said. Paul had forgotten about it till last week and emailed his teacher and told her he would still have a popcorn party if she would like. She said that would be great but wait till today and they could just have it for the 100th day celebration. Paul called his dad and told him what he was doing and Papaw said we can't just bring popcorn, lets have a big party. (Paul's dad owns the local grocery store) So we threw a full party for Kale's class today and here are a few pictures!!!
